At Alpha Veggies, we believe that everyone deserves a fair shot β especially the hardworking farmers who feed us. Through this project, weβre building a direct link between smallholder farmers with disabilities and bulk buyers in Nairobi and beyond.
By eliminating middlemen and championing ethical trade, weβre helping these farmers earn more, grow more, and thrive with dignity.
Why This Project MattersΒ
Many farmers with disabilities face multiple layers of exclusion β limited access to markets, lower prices for their produce, and a lack of support. On top of that, exploitative middlemen often take advantage of their limited mobility or social networks.
At Alpha Veggies, weβre doing things differently.
We work directly with these farmers to:

- – Provide visibility for their produce and their stories
- – Offer logistical support and connect them with ethical markets
